KENTAMED is a well known brand name among both doctors and distributors of electrosurgical equipment in many countries around the world. KENTAMED Ltd. was established in 1992 as a private firm with main activity and expertise in the area of development, service and maintenance of medical electronic equipment. At that time Atanas Tashkov, the founder of the firm, had already had 20 years of experience in design and development of cutting-edge electronics and microprocessor systems. He decided to combine his professional abilities with his strong believe that high quality products and immaculate business relationships are the pavement of the road to satisfaction in any human activity. That is how the philosophy of KENTAMED was created. Within the next few ears the small company based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria won the hearts of many Bulgarian physicians and service engineers.
In 1994 the focus of the company was shifted exclusively on development and manufacturing of electrosurgical equipment. In 1995 the first electrosurgical model KENTAMED 1 appeared on the market and within a couple of years it became the most popular coagulator in the private practices and clinics in Bulgaria. Since then progressive improvements, implementation of the best technology and excellent customer service made KENTAMED a leader on the local market.
Between 2003 and 2010 with the second and third generation of KENTAMED models the company stepped up to international markets and has established itself as a brand name in more than 30 courtiers around the world.
In the beginning of 2010 the company released the first model (KENTAMED RF-B) of the fourth generation of its product line. All products of this new generation are build around the proprietary HARTT (Hardware Adjusted Response to Tissue Type) technology.This technology relies on a large number of specific load curves build into each model. Each load curve has an unique tissue response characteristics. In addition, these characteristics are controlled only by hardware which makes the units extremely reliable.
